Creutzfeldt-jakob Disease (KROITS-felt YAH-kobe). CJD is a rapidly progressive neurodegenerative disorder, which usually leads to death within one year of onset of illness. CJD occurs world wide and has an incidence rate of one case per million population. There is no cure and no treatment...yet.
