June 4, 1979, Steve McCandless began his internship at Garney Construction. June 4, 1980 he began his career. Over the next 39 years when he retired on, you guessed it, June 4, 2018 Steve shared his knowledge, experience, and showed his loyalty to everyone he met. July 23, 2019 Cruetzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) took him from his family and friends after a very short diagnosis. 

While many of us are still learning about CJD we feel this foundation and this walk is a good way to bring light to this aggressive disease and celebrate the life of Steve.
