Barbara Green Crutcher, WOW where do we began! Barbara was loved by many as she was always willing to give to others to make sure they had what they needed. Every year she would take turkey baskets to families in need as well as collect gifts for families at Christmas time so that families weren't left with no presents under the Christmas tree, but above all she loved her family. Barbara was a mother of 3 Children and 7 grandchildren. She was a very active and involved grandmother as she was always at every event supporting her family and running down the football field with every touchdown at her grandson's football games. Barbara stayed active and involved in her friends and family's life close to the time of her diagnosis.

In October of 2016 we began noticing a decline in her mental state, nothing major but she just appeared to be a little "off" than normal. By November, her mental state/cognition continued to decline and we were notified of the results of an MRI that she had in early October 2016. The doctor said to us "it looks very similar to something called Creutz-Jakob disease". We took her to an emergency room in Denver to have some additional test run. By that next morning her diagnosis and been confirmed and we were told that she would have anywhere from 7-8 months to live. Unfortunately she passed away on December 20, 2016, a month after being diagnosed.

Now we want to give back the way that she did when she was alive! So help us honor her memory and help touch the lives of others and she would have wanted.
