Before May of 2019, we had never heard of Prion Diseases, then we got Neil's diagnosis. Since then, we have seen first hand the devastation of this rare neurological disease.
Neil has gone from someone who loved life and lived it to the fullest, to losing all his independence, and the ability to function on a daily basis. It's a horrible disease that progresses quickly and robs people of their lives, and families of their loved ones. As of now, there is no cure. We are participating in this fundraiser to help raise awareness and donations toward finding a cure.
