Evelyn Limoges Kendall

Please help us honor and celebrate the life of my mother, Evelyn Marie Limoges Kendall. Evelyn Limoges Kendall, known as “Tootz” to her grandchildren was a lot of things for different people. She was a mother, daughter, sister, friend, domino partner, poker player, hard-worker, caregiver, and so much more. She was the perfect happy hour partner, the hostess with the mostest, an adventurous travel companion, the worst storyteller, and had the answer to so many of our questions. She had a laugh that could really get you going, the corniest jokes, and a smile that could light up the whole room. She was the glue to our family, and we miss her daily. Evelyn was hospitalized in July 2019 and passed away from CJD on August 2, 2019. This event is used to spread awareness and honor the lives of those who succumbed to this horrible disease. Please join us in our fight against CJD.

Strides for CJD is an annual walk/run to raise awareness of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure. Through this event, anyone -- anywhere -- can pay tribute to their loved ones and raise funds for the CJD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, to provide family support, medical education and research programs.
