The CJD Foundation was and continues to be a positive part of the Pohl Family's life moving forward from the loss of Katie in 2018.  Providing educational and emotional support to families facing CJD, and financial support to researchers searching for treatments and a cure for CJD, the Foundation is first class in all that it does.

With the passing of Katie's Dad, Tippy Pohl in July 2021, we are using Strides for CJD 2021 to remember both Katie and Tippy, who are together in Heaven cheering us on in all that we do!

Please join our team, take a walk for Katie and Tippy and support the CJD Foundation so that it can continue its important work for families searching for hope in the midst of a horrible situation.

Note:  Presently, for those in the Pittsburgh area, there will be an in-person walk at South Park on October 9, 2021 @ 9AM.  However, if you can't join us in Pittsburgh, you can still register, donate and walk to support the cause, no matter where you are!  We will also keep everyone posted on any changes in the walk/event plan due to COVID.
