On March 6, 2020, the world lost a true she-ro. Sheryl Hall was an athlete, educator, leader, math whiz. But, more importantly, she was a loyal friend, mother, daughter, sister, auntie, grandma, and loving spouse. When I heard that CJD was the likely diagnosis, our first thought was " but this is SHERYL HALL, larger than life!"  We were all now part of that club that no one wants to join; those who learned that 'CJD is rapidly progressive and always fatal.'  In this time of devastating funding cuts to vital research it is imperative to raise funds to continue the work toward a cure for this brutal disease.  Join me on October 11 in Boston to walk for Sheryl, raise funds and awareness for CJD, and, of course, have ice cream! ?????
