Faced with a child’s illness life stops overnight and parents enter a world of fear and worry. For parents who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs, there’s an added stress. Distance. Most families have to travel hours for treatment. Living expenses quickly add up. Long drives, lost jobs, worried siblings, sleeping in cars. Being far from family and friends. These are extra burdens no family should have to experience.

At Engenius, we want to come along side RMHCC's mission to keep families with critically ill or injured children together and near the care and resources they need.

RMHCC serves families who must travel far from home, the House is much more than a room to stay in, it provides comfort, support and resources for families with sick children just steps from the hospital.

Donations Make A Difference

• $10 - amount asked per night from a family to stay at RMHCC (However no family is turned away due to inability to contribute, 80% of RMHCC families are unable to make this payment and donations cover this cost
• $89 - amount it costs RMHCC to house 1 family each night
• $267 - amount it costs RMHCC to house 1 family for a weekend
• $623 - amount it costs RMHCC to house 1 family for a week

 Our goal is to raise $1000 so families can focus on what’s most important - the health of their child.   Funds raised during the Wear Your Stripes week will support the operations of RMHCC.
