I've been a volunteer since 2017.
Over the countless hours spent inside the kennel, walking, feeding, cleaning up after the dogs, spending time on the couch with toys, belly rubs, being on every shift, and adoption events. I learned a lot!
Suddenly...COVID-19.
No...
After many weeks, months went by, "hey Brian, I need you, we're slowly bringing dogs in and need a strong walker." Of course, I returned. Over the course of a few weeks or so, I told the leader and adoption counselor that I had a goal before my 36th/37th birthday I would like to adopt a dog.
Faces were smiling behind the masks and "About time!"
Hmm.. I did some research online and asked walkers outside and couldn't adopt or rescue all of them.
Just like A dream..."Tom" appeared a skinny body and big smiling face. I didn't realize he was there until someone said, did you see the new dogs on the other side?"
I walked away and returned a few times and finally told my family, I want this one.
Shadow found his home.
Perfect pair!

Without so many dedicated volunteers in helping these precious dogs and cats finding their Furever homes, there would be more lost animals without a family.
Thank you for your donation and taking the time to read this.
