Howdy folks. I have been volunteering with C.A.R.E. for 5 years this August. I am the Monday night cat shift lead with an awesome crew of volunteers. I started volunteering because I was not ready for bringing a new cat into the household after some long lived cats had passed. I visited an open house at the adoption center in Skokie and that's all it took. I have met some great people, made some good friends and have hung out with A LOT of cats. This is my first year getting involved with the strut but I am actually not going to strut. Rather I am going to stream. I am going to do a video game stream a week after the strut. I plan on playing 3 cat based games. Stray, Little Kitty-Big City, and Catlateral Damage: Remeowstered. I mean, cats are not much for strutting in the park but are great for sitting on the couch with you playing games so why not do this! Join me virtually and hang out and watch me play 3 fun cat based video games with some cats from C.A.R.E. joining me on the couch at the adoption center.
