Two years ago we adopted Bailey (aka Gemma) from CARES, all because of a photo of her in a car happily eating a Starbucks Pup cup! Our hearts melted when we saw her and with time, trust and love we made our way into each other’s hearts and her forever home.  From being greeted with head to toe “wiggle jiggles” to nose kisses, an endearing  protection of her family, longing stares when cooking is in progress (which often results in the descent of some tidbit to her spot), to sunbathing on her favorite spot in her lawn, Bailey is simply the best. We cannot say enough about the way she was cared for during her long stay at CARES. Please help support the great work the shelter and its team does!
