Tristen was non-verbal from 15 months old, till he was 4 1/2 years old. He started an IU preschool on top of 20 hours in home therapy. Also food therapy at outpatient pediatrics (the 1243 building heh) on top of OT & speech in school. After graduating out of food therapy he recieved speech, OT & PT at the 1243 building. In 2012 My MT (mobile therapist) left & in 2013 in home services stopped (he had mastered all of his goals). in 2013/2014 He started after school program (for ASD kids) twice a week & joined a special needs baseball program. This year he was so happy to join special olympics aquatic classes & he also wants to do baseball again. Without awareness & support my son couldn't do the amazing things he has done so far & we are so blessed. Live Learn & Play has had an impact on my family & i'm proud to support them!
