I’m thrilled to be participating in the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon as a fundraiser for Soccer Without Borders!

My relationship with SWB began in August 2023 through a directed study during my graduate program at Clark University in Worcester, MA. I collaborated directly with Bruno Contreras, Director of the SWB Massachusetts hub, to create a community development plan aimed at expanding SWB’s mission to Worcester.

That plan came to life with a one-week soccer clinic hosted at the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, completely free for local youth. Over 50 kids participated, and the program sparked meaningful relationships between SWB, BGCW, and Clark University, my alma mater.

The 2024 program was such a success that SWB returned to Worcester this past April! This is a huge step toward building a lasting presence in Worcester and continuing to positively impact underserved youth in the community.

I’m incredibly proud to have played a major role in expanding SWB’s mission, and raising money as part of the NYC Marathon team is the next chapter in that journey. Soccer has been a major part of my life since I could walk. It’s given me lifelong friends, purpose, and confidence. Now I’m running to give back.
