Dear Friends, I recently joined The Sharing Center and I cannot imagine a better place to work as we seek to prevent hunger and homelessness in our community.  34 years ago 16 churches joined together to help neighbors in Seminole County ad every day I get to see first-hand families impacted by the work of The Sharing Center. Our annual fundraiser, Sweet Charity, normally scheduled in August, was cancelled due to the pandemic. We have decided to host a virtual run-ride and I will be running 3.4 miles to support the work of The Sharing Center.  The funds raised through our virtual event will provide much needed financial assistance for rent and utilities, groceries as well as help our homeless neighbors to enjoy a hot shower and clean laundry through the only drop in shelter, The Oasis.
