What is a virtual bike or run/walk event?
- A virtual fitness event is one you can do from any location best for you. Participants in Sweet Bites & Bikes can earn sweet medals, prizes, and give back to our community through charitable giving.
Can anyone participate?
- Yes! Young or old, fast or slow - we encourage participants of all ages and ability levels.
Do I have to bike the entire 34 miles in one day?
- No, you are welcome to begin your pledged miles at any time after registration. Make sure to track your miles each time.
Where can I bike, run/walk?
- Anywhere your heart desires. There are many trails, parks, and sidewalks around the community. Click here for more information about Seminole County Trails.
Do I have to log my miles?
- We strongly encourage you to log your miles. You can track your miles by downloading the Map My Run/ Map My Ride App for Android or Apple. We will have a way for you to upload your completed miles. You'll receive more instructions along the way on how you can share your miles with us and the community.
Registration - How do I create a Sweet Bites & Bikes fundraising page?
- Visit the Sweet Bites & Bikes website page, above the thermometer, you will see a button "Register for Sweet Bites & Bikes". Click this button and follow the instructions. If you have any questions, please call us at (407) 691-3120.
When is packet pick-up?
- Packet pickup is scheduled for September 1st and September 2nd from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m in our Thrift Store and September 3rd from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in our Corporate Office.
If I am unable to attend packet pick-up, when will I receive my medal/rewards?
- Medals will be shipped to participants within 7 - 10 business days of September 5th, 2020.
Is my registration fee tax deductible?
- No, the IRS indicates your contribution as a registration fee is not tax-deductible. However, a charitable gift/donation to this event is tax-deductible.
