Dear Friends,

As I have done for the past 9 or 10 years, on May 9th I will once again be participating in the Swim A Mile | Move A Mile for Women with Cancer event to raise funds for the Women's Cancer Resource Center (WCRC). I hope you’ll consider supporting my fundraising efforts to help women and families facing cancer.

For over 40 years, WCRC has been a vital resource for local women and families navigating cancer, providing free services such as practical support, connections to care, and a compassionate community where people feel understood. These services make a meaningful difference for the more than 900 East Bay cancer patients and survivors WCRC serves each year.

Cancer touches so many lives. WCRC ensures that no one has to face it alone, and I’m proud to support their important work.

As I swim, I will be thinking of my mother-in-law, Nan Strauss, who succumbed to cancer five years ago, and my sister Yvonne, who is courageously fighting her tenth year of this battle.
