Welcome to Olive Tyo's fundraising page for the Flying Fish Swim Marathon 2025
It's time to "pony up" for the YWCA Annual Swim Marathon! I am ecstatic for my 3rd marathon.
My swim goal is to swim 100 laps in 1 hour. Will I make it? Time will tell.
My financial goal is to raise $1500. Will I make it? That's up to you. :)
This year's swim marathon will take place January 31 - Feb 2
Funds raised from the annual swim marathon support all aspects of YWCA Evanston/North Shore’s work. This includes:
- Providing healthy aquatic programming for all;
- Offering scholarships/financial aid to those who otherwise would not be able to afford swim lessons or swim team;
- Supporting families who access the YWCA’s domestic violence services, economic advancement and other social justice programs;
- Bringing violence prevention and racial equity programs to schools and other local organizations.
