The Whatcom Working Waterfront Proudly Presents:
Tide to Table '25: A Kentucky Derby Seafood Soiree!
Our 7th annual Tide-to-Table Dinner celebrates the Salish Sea and everyone who works in, on, and around our waters.
Get ready to fund-race for the roses with our Kentucky Derby theme this year! We invite you to celebrate with us at the Bellwether Ballroom on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 as we dine on stellar seafood wonderfully prepared by Bellwether's catering team, bid on exciting live and silent auction items, and connect with peers and friends from our waterfront communities. The Coalition has been hard at work liaising with the Port and City of Bellingham, and several of our local businesses and organizations to further our promotion of a working, vibrant waterfront for our region. As we move into 2025, we're excited to have your support.
The Coalition, a member-based organization, is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and several working committees, all working on behalf of all our waterfront businesses and interests to ensure that our region’s waterfronts remain accessible to the marine trades that helped build our region, our culture, and our heritage.
We are honored and humbled to host you for the evening, and share our stories, our wine, a selection of fascinating auction items, and some of the best local seafood our waters have to offer.
This year's event features a live and silent auction, with many fun, exciting items to bid on, and chances to win experiences of a lifetime. The Silent Auction will be online this year - and open the entire week prior to the event. Get your bidder numbers ready and stay tuned!
Along with an exciting auction for the evening, we will also raise our paddle to the Apprenticeship Program that addresses our members’ need for a trained workforce so they can sustain and expand their businesses. This earn-while-you-learn program allows apprentices to receive living wages while training and studying in the marine technician field. Proceeds from the Raise-the-Paddle portion of the evening directly support this new comprehensive workforce training program.
Thank you from all of us at the Working Waterfront Coalition.
With your support, we will be able to continue our mission of promoting the vitality and economic benefits
of our working waterfronts, and the diversity of jobs, people, goods, and services they provide.
See you on April 26th!
