I've walked this path many times before, and by walk I mean I ran, I sprinted I skipped until I realized now of that was working for me. So I started taking my time leisurely walking stopping to smell the flowers along the way, and learn valuable lessons. I sacrificed myself and pieces of my health for control over something I knew nothing about. I was riding in the passenger seat watching my life go by. I have felt the long term effects and I have battled the repercussions of my decisions, I developed defiencies from my own neglegance on my body thinking I was helping myself. I was afraid to talk but I no longer am, because strength comes with having a voice. People want to help but they can't if you can't help yourself. It's hard work but it's the best decision I ever made, living in recovery gives me life. Be the voice and help raise awareness for so many who have lost their lives to this, who have ravaged themsel bea and those who have been in too much pain to get the help they need fearing what those would think.  I appreciate this forever and always.
