Alli was a wonderful, dynamic, vivacious young woman who I had the pleasure of working with at The Adult Skills Center. Everyone said she was a social butterfly. She always had a smile and a friendly conversation for everyone. Now unfortunatly she passed away last year, which is why The Adult Skills Center is holding their 5K funraiser in her honor.

Now I know I just asked a lot of you to donate to my birthday Facebook funraiser, and thank you for helping me to reach my goal. Now i'd like to sak you to help reach my goal her for my angency's fundraiser. Your donation will go to helping people like Alli gain the life skills they need to lead full lives. About This Event: Join us on Saturday, June 11 at Lake Balboa Park for a 5K Walk Fundraiser. The event will open at 9AM and the walk will promptly begin at 10AM. Most walkers will be done by 11:30AM. After the walk there will be food available for purchase, games and music. The walking path is wheelchair accessible!

How You Can Help: You can join my team and walk with me during the event. Select “Join Our Team!” to register for the event. All walk registrants will receive an event t-shirt. OR, if you can’t join me on the day of the walk, you can help support my team. Select “Donate Now” and your donation will help in my team’s fundraising goal!

Where Your Donations Go: All of the funds for this event will go toward the critical services provided by The Adult Skills Center (TASC). TASC provides education, behavioral services, integrated employment, and independent living services to hundreds of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your support will mean a great deal for these important services!
