Our son, Lincoln, attempted to make an entrance to the world 9 weeks early. Thankfully, the doctors at the Mother Baby Center were able to keep him brewing for 3 weeks, with his grand entrance officially occuring 6 weeks early. 

Lincoln spent the first 10 days of his life in the Special Care Nursery at Childrens Hospital. Without the care he received there, I am not sure we would be here today. 

Now, 19 months later, Lincoln is a little spitfire. He is funny, extremely curious, and has a heart of gold. He would not be who he is today without the nurses and doctors of the Special Care Nursery. 

I am running this maration, my first one ever, as a tribute to Lincoln, and all the other kids who have gone through something similar. We are forever grateful for Childrens Minnesota.
