At the Children’s Village in Beaver Run, resident volunteers from all over the world share their lives and their homes with students in kindergarten through twelfth grade in an environment of caring, acceptance, and support. Education and therapies address the whole child – head, heart, and hands – allowing for growth, meaning, and accomplishment in all aspects of their lives. We cherish one another for who we are and what we can give the school community, whether that is leading a house, teaching a class, setting a table, or being a friend. Together, we make great things happen for the most deserving amongst us – our students!

Beaver Farm is where our students take their first steps into adulthood. On our 130-acre farm, young people care for livestock, learn how to cultivate crops, grow bloom after bloom of cut flowers, create one of a kind beautiful and functional art in pottery and fiber arts, raise vegetables and herbs that they then turn into delectable and nutritious meals for their entire community. They nourish the soil while they nourish their souls. We share our lives in extended family homes where students learn that being responsible for yourself and contributing to your community means learning how to live in the world after school.
