You have to be a rockstar to survive all that Mason has in his first few months of life. Six life changing surgeries within 6 months, our family has proclaimed him as the "World's Strongest Baby". Last year for Mason's 1st birthday, he was able to raise over $2,600 from your generous giving. Even though he may not understand the power of giving back, moments like these he will be able to look back on and see the difference he made. CHKD helped our baby boy and took care of our family for what seemed like a very long time. Mason is still being followed by various doctors at CHKD because his miracle is still in action. It is only right that we give back each time he celebrates another year of life, which couldn't have been done without God, his team of doctors, and his support system which includes YOU.

Mommy was worried so much that her baby boy would be significantly behind. Staying in the hospital under constant sedation, IV's and tubing coming from everywhere, and surgeries that required long periods of intubation, Mason missed out on doing the regular baby stuff. He has been seeing therapists since leaving the hospital and our boy is improving everyday. His GJ tube which required a hospital visit everytime it was moved out of place, is now a GTube (we can change it at home). Mason began crawling in October and he is open to trying new foods. He loves chasing his sister around and fussing at us (we have no idea what he's saying but he does lol). About a week ago he began walking!!! Mason has been on God timing and reminds us daily that he isn't an ordinary child so he will have extraordinary outcomes!
