Time flies! It is said all the time but it is so true! I am excited to be turning 20 AND celebrating with my 20th Party with a Purpose for CHKD!! What a fun birthday milestone and great reason to kickoff a Party with a Purpose for CHKD! I am so thankful and blessed by soooo many amazing people in my life! The last 19 Birthday Parties have raised over $25,000!!! CHKD is a great resource for our community, providing amazing healthcare for so many kids! CHKD continues to be a great resource for me even today! I spent my first days of life at CHKD in the NICU after suffering a stroke. My Mom says those days were challenging but CHKD provides resources and medical care now and then to help me live a healthy life. Dr. White took care of me in the NICU and he became my favorite doctor! I continue to host these events in honor and memory of Dr. White! CHKD is full of amazing doctors and healthcare providers like Dr. White! Every time I walk into one of CHKD’s facilities, I realize how lucky I am! CHKD is full of professionals providing great care! I am happy to kick off this 20th donation party even if it is virtually to help the kids at CHKD! I appreciate ALL the donations over the many years.
