Why SHINE joined Team CHOICES

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month—a time to raise awareness, show support for survivors and highlight the resources available to those in need.

Every three seconds, an adult in the U.S. experiences domestic violence. It isn’t always physical. Abuse can also be emotional, financial or psychological.

By recognizing the signs and speaking up, we help break the silence that allows abuse to continue. Supporting CHOICES aligns with SHINE’s mission to advocate for and empower women, building a community where safety, dignity and opportunity are available to all.
