Dragon Master Initiative sets itself apart because we are data driven. We promote the sharing of information and seek to make research more effective by empowering collaboration. We believe that if we make data from previous and current trials and research more accessible, we will find a cure to cancer in our lifetime. By joining our fundraising team, you can help make that happen!
To join the team, simply register and pay the fee to hold your spot, and then start fundraising! The registration fee will be applied to your fundraising goal.
Fundraising commitments to support Dragon Master Initiative's ongoing mission is as follows:
- 5K - $600
- 10K - $725
- Half Marathon - $1,075
- Marathon - $1,250
- Goofy Challenge - $1,550
- Includes the half marathon and marathon distances
- Dopey Challenge - $2,100
- Includes the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon distances
Important: Fundraising pages must be set up within 10 days of signup or the spot will be forfeited. This includes adding an avatar photo and your fundrasing story.
The minimum fundraising goals must be met before runDisney registration links will be issued. We are holding your race entry with runDisney until you fulfill the fundraising commitment. Also note that you are not officially registered with runDisney until we have issued you your special registration link. With your runDisney entry, you will get the race weekend shirt(s) and medal(s).
We have two fundraising deadlines that you should be aware of:
1. If you want your name on your bib or if you want to submit a proof of time, you need to have your fundraising completed by Sunday, September 24th, 2023. If proof of time and name on bib don't matter to you, you have more time to meet your goal.
2. You have until Sunday, November 26, 2023 to reach your fundraising minimum. If you are unable to fundraise the full amount by the deadline, the expectation is that you will donate the remaining amount or your race entry may be forfieted.
In the event that runDisney cancels the event, the runner's registration fee will be refunded. Otherwise, the registration fee is not refundable.
