I will be running in the WDW Marathon weekend in January 2024. I am participating in the Dopey Challenge which is a 5k, 10k, half marathon, and marathon over the 4-day weekend. I am running in memory and honour of my Dad, in support of the Dragon Master Initiative. My goal is to raise $2100 for the foundation. Dragon Master Initiative sets itself apart because they are data-driven. They promote the sharing of information and seek to make research more effective by empowering collaboration. They believe that if data from previous and current trials and research is more accessible, a cure for cancer will be found in our lifetime. Through my Dad's battle with cancer, so often we heard about the research and the information that needs to be shared. The immunotherapy drugs that were used to treat his cancer need more research.
