Hi! I am running the Disney Wine and Dine series this November (5k, 10k, and Half Marathon). This will be my fourth time participating in a Disney race. I felt like I should have more purpose behind my training and run, and was looking for a charity to team with. If you're going to run anyhow, why not do something helpful at the same time, right? That's how I found Dragon Master-Team Fired Up!

This charity is doing amazing work! Dragon Master supports research through a database called Cavatica. It is a huge, open access database that shares biomedical data (one cancer patient can produce up to a terabyte of data!) between doctors, hospitals and therefore, patients. Imagine your doctor able to search your exact symptoms, disorders or diseases across this mountain of information to find someone else with all the same issues, and what treatment worked for them, in a flash!

Sharing all of this data can lead to curing cancer in our lifetime! The funds we are raising support Cavatica, and keep it growing and accessible. Dragon Master supports cancer patients in many other ways as well, I just think this is such an important part of it.  Any amount that you are able to give will make a difference. Thank you!!
