I am thrilled to be running the Marine Corps Marathon this October to support the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation!  The foundation works tirelessly on its dual missions - to advocate for U.S. citizens wrongfully detained abroad and to train  journalists reporting from the world's most dangerous places on the best and latest safety practices - and I'm excited to support their work.   Check them out at:  https://jamesfoleyfoundation.org

This is my fourth time running for the James Foley Legacy Foundation.  There have been bumps on the road on each one (think broken toes, too-small running shoes and race day flu) and I'm sure this one will be no different.  But I'm excited to do a small part to raise money for the amazing team at the the foundation and the work they do every day.
