Hi family and friends! I have created this page to gather folks together to make a contribution to BsideU for Life's Team Life Bike Ride. I won't be riding since I will probably be delivering our baby :) but I wanted to still fundraise! BsideU for Life is a ministry in the heart of downtown Louisville – we serve as a crisis pregnancy center for those who find themselves in unplanned pregnancies. We seek not only to help moms and dads to choose life for their unborn baby, but to come alongside them to find flourishing life in Christ. Many of those who come to us are scared and overwhelmed by their circumstances: homelessness, addiction, past or present abuse, poverty, severe mental illness, and many more immense forms of sin and suffering. Many have aged out of the foster care system or come from broken families, and have no family to support them in parenting. Our clients need whole life support. We seek to come alongside them not only in their decision, but to walk alongside them to help them find resources, meet practical needs, receive healing, to break free of the cycle they are stuck in and to pursue God’s design. We provide services to aid in the change process from a Christian worldview: we have counseling, case management, personal budgeting, fatherhood mentoring, a Pregnancy and Parenting program, Abortion Recovery Groups, Celebrate Recovery, as well as daily lunch and childcare for participants. Most importantly, we seek to share the Gospel with all we encounter, and our prayer is that every woman, man, and child that enters our building, would know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, become a part of a local church, and experience the transformation He alone can bring. We can't do this without your help!
