John Fong was a passionate devoted participant and fundraiser for the Team Life Bike Ride to benefit BsideUforLife. John's wife Kim wanted to honor his legacy to this worthy ministry so she and I decided to set up a rider page in his honor. The following are John's own words from last year........ "The Bible emphasizes the importance of loving and caring for others, highlighting the value of life through compassionate actions. Jesus Christ teaches the commandment to "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:39), encouraging believers to extend kindness and support to those around them. James 1:27 also underscores this principle by calling for the care of orphans and widows in their distress, showing that true religion involves actively helping those in need. This call to love and care for others reflects the intrinsic worth of every human life. BsideU for Life offers free and confidential medical services, options counseling, education, and support to our community, fulfilling God's commandment to love our neighbors. All these services are provided at no cost to those in need. Each year, the Team Life Bike Ride raises funds to help them to continue providing this essential care.
