Running for Lola. Running for Every Kid Still Fighting.
I’ve been best friends with Lola’s parents since we were kids. Lola wasn’t just someone I knew—she is someone who shaped how I live my life.
Lola showed up every single day with grace, strength, and an unshakable faith. Even in the hardest moments. Especially in the hardest moments. Her spirit was bigger than life, and the way she faced cancer moved more people than she’ll ever know. I knew early on that her story wouldn’t end with her—it would live on and keep making a difference.
That’s why I run.
This year, my friends and I are taking on Ragnar NW Passage once again to raise money for Beat Childhood Cancer. This will be my third Ragnar running for the Because of Lola cause—and every mile is for her, and for every child still in the fight.
Our goal this year is bold: $50,000 raised.
Every dollar matters. Truly. Whether you can give a little or a lot, it all adds up—and it all fuels hope and determination to keep fighting for Lola and every child battling cancer today.
If you can’t donate, please share this page. Help us spread the rally cry. Help us keep Lola’s legacy moving forward.
We run because she showed us how to live.
We run because quitting isn’t an option.
We run until childhood cancer is beaten.
