Why I'm Running for NEF

I am so excited to be running the Naperville 5K to support NEF and Naper Elementary! Prior to COVID-19, NEF supported Naper students by sponsoring a grant I wrote to create Calming Corners in each of our classrooms. Calming Corners are a space where ALL students can check in with their feelings and use specific tools to regulate their emotions and bodies.  Now calming corners are more important that ever as our youngest learners return to the classroom. 

Please consider sponsoring me as I run the Naperville 5K on October 17th and supporting NEF so that future grants can continue to improve our schools!
