I'm running the 2023 Bank of America Chicago to support Mission of Our Lady of the Angels!
Last year I wasn't able to get on Team OLA before it was full, but they still treated me as one of their own! They offered me support, encouragement, and hospitality - even more than my actual marathon team - because that is just how amazing they are! The sisters are the sweetest, most generous group I could possibly imagine, and I am SO excited to get to officially be on Team OLA this year!
Anna and I volunteer to help at OLA's food pantry whenever we get a chance, and it is always a joyful, transformative experience! I try to support their mission in any way I can, and I hope you will help me to do so as well.

Mission of Our Lady of the Angels exists to provide material and spiritual support to W. Humboldt Park, Chicago- one of the most challenged neighborhoods in the US. The Mission feeds about 3000 families a month, provides additional material and pastoral support to families, youth, and senior citizens, and, most importantly, brings the love of Christ to a neighborhood desperately in need of hope. Funds raised from Team OLA 2023 will be used to:
(1) Help the Mission expand its food pantry + other material distributions
-Mission of Our Lady of the Angels currently serves about 3000 families a month- and growing!
-Help the Mission continue to expand and improve this outreach.
(2) Help the Mission successfully start using its new outreach center!
-2023 will be the first full year of use of our new outreach center
-We will be hosting large retreats for service groups and parishes for the first time as well as expanding out social services to our neighbors out of the new building.
-Help us to make this expansion possible with your donations!
