So ... I was going to run to support the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels again this year, but problems arose with the date, with my hamstring, and my registration. Alas, I will be putting in my 26.2 miles at the Springfield, IL Marathon on November 11th. HOWEVER, the team is still assembling to run Chicago on October 8th, and they need your prayers! Pray for the Franciscans of the Eucharist, and everyone they serve, and the whole running crew that will be making their bodies a living sacrifice on that Sunday morning! AND, if you can donate financially, know how grateful I would be, and the whole crew!

Funds raised from Team OLA 2023 will be used to:
(1) Help the Mission expand its food pantry + other material distributions
-Mission of Our Lady of the Angels currently serves about 3000 families a month- and growing!
-Help the Mission continue to expand and improve this outreach.
(2) Help the Mission successfully start using its new outreach center!
-2023 will be the first full year of use of our new outreach center
-We will be hosting large retreats for service groups and parishes for the first time as well as expanding out social services to our neighbors out of the new building.
-Help us to make this expansion possible with your donations!
