"HI, IT'S ME"

Here I am...
running the 2025 Bank of America Chicago
after I said I was a ONE AND DONE marathoner!
As PENANCE for LYING TO YOU ALL...
I signed up as a charity runner with a goal of raising
$1,500 to support Mission of Our Lady of the Angels! 

"I WAS ENCHANTED TO MEET YOU"

Of course, there were other charities,
other choices...so why did I choose the
Mission of Our Lady of the Angels as mine?
(Other than being Catholic and
having an admiration for religious sisters.)
 

The Mission of Our Lady of the Angels exists to provide
material and spiritual support
to the West Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago:
one of the most challenged neighborhoods in our country!

The Mission feeds about 4400 families a month! 
They provide additional material and pastoral support
to families, youth, and senior citizens. 
Most importantly, they bring the love of Christ
to a neighborhood desperately in need of hope.

"AND IF HE SPENDS MY CASH THEN..."

THE $$$ RAISED BY TEAM OLA 2025 WILL BE USED TO: 

1.) Help the Mission EXPAND its food panty 
and other material distributions (think beyond food,
think diapers, clothes, household supplies!)

2.) Help the Mission renovate an
additional convent for MORE SISTERS!

3.) Serve the SPIRTUAL NEEDS of the community
through outreah, engagement, an evangelism!

The Mission is a 501(c)(3) and relies entirely on the donations of private donors.
