Please Help Me Fundraise for Mission OLA

Hello everyone! I'm doing my 5th Chicago Marathon with the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist!!

I love these nuns. They are the Navy SEALs of our Archdiocese, maybe, of the whole Catholic Church. They work so hard and pray so hard for every single one of us. The best part is that they do this with genuine joy. 

This year, I was ordained a Catholic Priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago by our vicar general, Bishop Larry Sullivan. My fist parish assignment is at St. Clare of Assisi Parish. I see this as a providential sign from God that I should continue to support this mission however I can.

PS: I paint.  What I've done every year in order to fundraise is this. For every $5 that you donate, I'll enter your name into a raffel. Pretty cool, right?! Last year I painted an icon of Carlo Acutis. This year I hope to paint Pier Giorgio Frassati. May the odds be ever in your favor! Hope you donate. Hope you win.

We had Thanksgiving lunch for about 500 & we distributed 1500+ turkeys last November!

We host community meals about once a month. We invite our neighbors to pray and share a meal with us. It has been a beautiful way to help our broken community be a little more united each time we come together.
