I'm excited to be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro this summer on behalf of Opportunity International as a founding member of Team Opportunity!
Dave and I support Opportunity International because their mission aligns with our desire to support organizations that serve the poorest and most disadvantaged. This mission, along with the amazing chance to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, gives me courage and excitment to take on a bold goal to introduce others to the work of Opportunity International and in doing so, raise $20,000 to help unlock opportunities for Malawian women living on less than .50 cents a day. The climbers each pay their own way. The funds that we raise go directly to help these women lift their families out of extreme poverty. With your support, women will receive resources to meet their immediate needs and empower them to start businesses, generate income, feed their families, and send their children to school.
