I'm excited to share that I’ll be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro this summer on behalf of Opportunity International as a founding member of Team Opportunity! What an extraordinary opportunity to adventure to a beautiful part of the world and experience God's creation fully on the highest mountain on the continent of Africa… feeling blessed.
The best part of the journey is the experience is really not about us as climbers, but what we are hoping to mobilize on behalf of the inspiring mission of Opportunity International. This mission, paired with my love of moutain-top adventures, made for the perfect match to take on a bold goal to raise $20,000 to help unlock opportunities for Malawian women living on less than $.50 a day. Through our team's training, we are working to help these women lift their families out of extreme poverty. With your generosity, women will receive resources to meet their immediate needs and empower them to start businesses, generate income, feed their families, and send their children to school.
