Why I'm Running

I'm excited to share that I’ll be participating in the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon on behalf of Opportunity International as a member of Team Opportunity!

As you might know, I support Opportunity International because their mission means a lot to me. This mission, paired with my passion for running, made for the perfect match to take on a bold goal to raise $10,000 to help unlock opportunities for Malawian women living on less than $1 per day. Through my training and running this fall, I am working to help these women lift their families out of extreme poverty. With your support, women will receive resources to meet their immediate needs and empower them to start businesses, generate income, feed their families, and send their children to school.
