In Loving Memory of My Amma — Supporting the Fight Against Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)

My mom was the kind of person whose strength and resilience were unmatched. She was the glue that held our family and friends together, offering unwavering support and love to those who needed it the most. She had a heart full of kindness and a spirit that never wavered, even in the face of life's challenges.

A deeply spiritual person, she lived her life with a sense of purpose and grace, always striving to uplift others and share her wisdom. Her kindness, empathy, and infectious positivity were a beacon of light for those fortunate enough to be in her presence

She was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), a rare and devastating lung disease that slowly takes away a person’s ability to breathe. 

Even as she continued to fight this disease, my mom never lost her kindness or her dignity. She kept showing up with love, patience, and courage and continued to inspire us all. 

She loved dance and was incredibly proud of my students and my dance families. Dance always brought a smile on her face and a spark in her eyes. One of her last wishes was to do a production on Vitthala. 

This fundraiser is in her honor — and for every family who is walking this same painful road.
