Next year I'm taking on what I thought was the unthinkable, I'm running my very first marathon.
In 2024, I will be running the Chicago Marathon and I will fundraising on behalf of Team Special Olympics Chicago!
Special Olympics is near and dear to my heart, as I have seen its impact on my brother Andrew who is a Special Olympics athlete.
I believe connecting people through sports and physical activity is instrumental in spreading a culture of inclusion, acceptance, and joy. Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children's Charities is working to create a more inclusive Chicago... one mile at a time!
Team Special Olympics Chicago is a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am proud to be a member of this team.
