I am thrilled to be running on behalf of Team Special Olympics this year. 2024 is my first full marathon, and I am glad to be working with a great cause such as Special Olympics. The Special Olympics allows individuals with disabilities the opportunity to compete in sports -  an important aspect of my life that helped shape me into who I am today. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to compete.

I believe connecting people through sports and physical activity is instrumental in spreading a culture of  acceptance and joy. Team Special Olympics Chicago is a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am proud to be a member of this team.
