Last year, I had the honour of running my first marathon in Chicago with Team Special O and I am excited to do it again! I believe connecting people through sports and physical activity is instrumental in spreading a culture of inclusion, acceptance, and joy. Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children's Charities is working to create a more inclusive Chicago... one mile at a time!

Team Special Olympics Chicago is a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am proud to be a member of this team.  
 

Throughout my dental education and career, I have had the opportunity to work with special needs patients and I am so excited that I am running with this group. Volunteering at Special Smiles in previous years and seeing special needs patients makes this organization special to me and what I believe in.
