Hi everyone - 

As I closed out my competitive skating career, I began to solidify a new passion of running. Training for a sport that soley depends on my ability has been a huge shift from synchronized skating, and I wanted to find a way to incorporate the aspect of teamwork and support into my next endeavor. I am proud to announce that I will be running on behalf of Team Special Olympics Chicago.

Team Special Olympics Chicago is a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am proud to be a member of this team.  

This group is close to my heart. If anyone reading this got to witness the Unified Synchro division at the Dr. Porter Classic this year, you know how incredible these athletes are. I am eager to support this group as I train for the biggest run of my life!
