Welcome to my 2024 Chicago Marathon Fundraising page! I am truly so excited to be partnering with Special Olympics Chicago to raise money this year. Speical Olympics is the world's largest program for sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, inspiring greatness in more than 5 million athletes in 172 nations worldwide. 

I have been volunteering with people of all abilities since my sophomore year of high school, whether at church, in college through volunteer events or internships, or post college with different organizations in the Atlanta area. I actually volunteered at my college's chapter of Special Olympics during my time with UGA Cross Country and Track at UGA! 

In November of last year, I got to run my first ever marathon in New York after raising money for a similar organization, the Kyle Pease Foundation. While this was one of the hardest things I have ever experienced physically and mentally, it was also one of the greatest joys, and doing it knowing I was supporting a cause I believe in so much made it even more special. I hope to do someting similar this October at the Chicago Marathon. I love love love that I am able to combine two passions of mine in this way -- running for a cause that is close to my heart!

I'm SO excited to get started training and am fueled by a desire to make athletics accessible to all people.
