I am fundraising for Special Olympics Chicago and Special Children's Charities. Special Olympics and aiding those with disabilities has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. Through sport, I learned all things about success, failure, teamwork, independece, and hard work, which have made me the man I am today. Special Olympics levels the playing field and provides the opportunity for people of all abilities to learn those influential lessions, especially highlighting bravery and inclsion. 

In my marathon journey (training and race-day) I will proudly embrace the Special Olympics Athlete Oath: "Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt." This is an oath that I became acclimated with throughout my time with Villanova Special Olympics cheering on my friends and the broader athletes of Special Olympics Pennsylvania ("SOPA"). Whether competing individually or on a team these athletes inspire steadfast bravery and have ignited an inclusion revolution. I am so grateful for the impact that my friends, the SOPA athletes, and Special Olympics athletes all over have had on my life.

While the impact Special Olympics has had on my life has been remarkable, the impact Special Olympics has on the athletes lifes is beyond compare. I hope that you consider supporting this mission.
