I believe connecting people through sports and physical activity is instrumental in spreading a culture of inclusion, acceptance, and joy. Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children's Charities is working to create a more inclusive Chicago... one mile at a time!

Team Special Olympics Chicago is a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am proud to be a member of this team.  
 

Having worked with Team Special Olympics before during the Polar Plunge and during college while I helped train athletes for Special Olympics. This charity holds an important place in my life and I am extremely proud to support it as I run my first marathon.
