Hi there! My name is Doriana Garza and I’m thrilled to be running in the Chicago marathon to raise funds for Special Olympics. Running has become a passion of mine, bringing me immense joy, energy, and a sense of accomplishment. This year, I’m excited to channel that passion into supporting a cause close to my heart.

I believe connecting people through sports and physical activity is instrumental in spreading a culture of inclusion, acceptance, and joy. Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children's Charities is working to create a more inclusive Chicago... one mile at a time!

Team Special Olympics Chicago is a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am proud to be a member of this team.
