Fingers crossed, I'll be running my 5th Chicago marathon this October.  But this one will be different---this time I'll be raising funds for Special Olympics Chicago!  I chose to join Team Special Olympics Chicago because I believe connecting people through sports and physical activity is instrumental in spreading a culture of inclusion, acceptance, and joy. Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children's Charities is working to create a more inclusive Chicago... one mile at a time!

Team Special Olympics Chicago is a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am proud to be a member of this team.
